This is part of chart 4012 showing the coast from Liverpool to Halifax, including Mahone Bay.  The area shown has several hundred miles of shoreline, some of it quite rugged.  Mahone Bay (containing the red arrow at Oak Island) is said to contain 365 Islands.  It is one of the best cruising areas on the east coast of North America, and is where our courses start from.  We can sail anywhere in this area on an Intermediate course, and on an Advanced course, well beyond.
